| This is an ideal base from which to explore the vineyards of the Languedoc Roussillon and the peaceful villages in the mountains. A mere 20 minutes drive and you will arrive at the coast with its miles and miles of sandy beaches and another 20 minutes drive down the coast road you will find, nestled in a bay, on the Cote Vermeille, the old and very picturesque port of Collioure where Picasso, Dali, Maillol and others got their inspiration. It takes 35 minutes to get to the Spanish border and 1 hour to Carcassonne. |
